Ship without Roof Rails?

Hello all. My first day on the forum, so please excuse if this is the dumbest question posed all year. Here it is: Do any of the 2016 or 2017 4Runner Limited's ship without the roof rails? A comment made by my dealer made me question whether I'll have to buy the rails (not the cross bars) as a dealer-added accessory. My understanding was that all the 4Runners had the roof rails from the factory.

Welcome! You are correct. They all come with rails. Cross bars are an option.

Only one I've ever seen without rails was a pre-production model they used for testing.

Mine doesn't have bars, I had the sales guy put the delete kit on my "promise list" and I pulled it off myself.

They'll all have the rails. But if you want to use the rails you'll need to pick up some sort of cross bar.

I went ahead and did the delete, I'll never use those rails....if I want something up there it's going to be a full rack.

Ships with the rails, delete looks nice and clean. Rails come off super easy.

I removed the cross bars and used Thule bars. Anybody need stockers?
