i have stock suspension other than aftermarket shocks and struts. nothing longer or higher. i have removed my rear sway bar and was wondering if flexing to the max is hard on my shocks, seenings as they act as a limiting strap. should i think about conduring up some straps to prevent stress on the rear shocks or will they be fine. they are Gabriel ultras in the rear.

If I was catching air (desert racing or dune running) I would use limit straps. I'm a rock crawler and am floating tires all the time. Since the droop/shock extension is slow, I don't foresee damage from allowing the axles to hang off the shocks.

What are your plans for the vehicle.
If you are going to lift it, do so before you add limit straps (if you feel the need to do so).
