Shoes - the kind for your feet, not your 4Runner

I'm interested in hearing what kind of shoes people wear when they're off-roading. Really, I am. I like my Piloti shoes when I'm driving around in my car, but haven't found shoes that are good for driving the 4Runner. Thoughts? I only looked at the first five pages of search results...

other then that redwing work boots when playing in rocks as they support my ankle and are comfy!

Same Composite Toe Service Boots I wear everyday at work, home, play, ect.

I think they're Magnum Stealths for right now? Been meaning to look into some of the higher grade stuff like RedWing, but never seen them or tried them on. I like my boots a little more flexible vs. traditional higher heel work boots.

Both great recommendations. But, I don't like driving in boots. I've had a pair of Danners for over 5 years now and they're very comfortable. But they make me feel like I'm pressing the pedals with snowshoes on. I've got issues...obviously.

I had a pair of these when they were all the rage. But the toes were always kind of annoying. I ended up settling on New Balance Minimus (some version). Same deal. I wear those at the gym.

They're awesome. My favorite style is the commodore. I just ordered 2 more pairs of them. They've got a soft almost memory foam like sole and weigh almost nothing. They don't do good in the rain being a canvas type of material and they wear out after about 6 months, but they're only like $32 a pair on amazon so it's not bad at all. Probably my favorite shoes.

I got a pair of old GI boots, vasque mantra and nike lunarglide.. But most of the time some good old flip flops will do; since I like to drive barefoot.

Keen Newport H2 closed toe sandals. Im addicted and have 4 pair. Winter or summer, in or out of water, socks or none they fit my sole perfect. If they feel good for you you will be a Keen freak, there are a lot of them out there.

I wear the new GI combat boots but for ever day wear but would do awesome for wood travels I wear adidas trail runners there like more mud tires for your feet

Flip Flops, and then I make sure I have my North Shore trail runners in case of emergencies or exploring. Last thing I want to do is make a hike off the trail in flip flops if something breaks and can't be fixed.
