Shop in Colorado to install sliders?

I'm on my way to Boulder CO next weekend to pick up my 2010 Trail Edition. (Bought a low mileage Trail from someone ending a lease.) It is stock, with all the options including KDSS, and I'd like to get sliders installed while I'm in Colorado. I like the BudBuilt sliders with full tread, but don't necessarily want to install them myself.

Can anybody recommend a reputable shop in Boulder, Denver, or Colorado Springs that sells and can install Budbuilt sliders on a 2010 4Runner Trail with KDSS?

I'm looking for a slider that has the functionality of a "step/running board" while still being durable enough to take a few knocks off road, so would welcome other suggestions as well.

I think it's worth the drive to Ft. Collins to Addicted, but thats just me…

You could try Slee or 4WheelDrive parts in Denver.

Edit: You said sell. That I do not know. There are a few other Toyota specific shops in the area but I am not sure of anyone that sells Budbuilts out of their shop.

Thank you. I checked both Slee and 4WheelParts and the sliders they sell either don't fit with KDSS, or don't look very substantial.

Can you recommend one of the other Toyota specific places you mentioned?
(I'd prefer to get the sliders installed by the shop, so not really looking for someone that would just sell them to me.)

Sure, but then my wife will know I spent extra for the sliders. If I pick them up when I'm in Colorado then she'll just think they came with the car.

Finding time to put them on myself is the challenge. Too many unfinished projects already...

Ah clever. I must learn your ways.
 
they take about 20 min to bolt up tops with no special tools required, a shop is going to charge you at least a hundred bucks and laugh their heads off as soon as you walk out the door.

Budbuilt sells direct to the end user, not through resellers.
 
Dude,
If you're not welding on your sliders, you can do it yourself. It's super easy and it'll make you feel good installing something yourself. I just used a jack to put the slider into position and put the bolts through. Didn't even take me a half hour.

OK. Thanks everyone for your advice. Sounds like a relatively easy job that I can do myself later on.
 
Heard good things about the folks at FNJeep and Predator 4wd in the Springs. Never used them myself but good reputations

Just tell your wife that the previous owner had the sliders tucked away in storage and he's going to send them to you later because they are suppose to come with the truck :)

Order BB sliders, rip off fedex label upon arrival, and no one will be the wiser, lol.
 
The truth comes out. Well best of luck to you. I would add that if your wife doesn't know about the sliders, will she know about the lift/new tires/skids and everything else that goes along with the need for sliders (I assume you plan on offroading and sliders are only part of the protection you'll need)? If that's not the case, the '14 step rails are actually very nice and people sell them here between 50 and 200.

And Slee sliders are actually very effective and strong. Slee has a great reputation in Colorado and make great Toyota specific parts.

Quick note. It will take you a little longer to install due to your KDSS system. I don't have that on mine so I didn't need to remove any type of brackets/bolts for the lines but it's pretty straight forward. You'll just have to remove those pieces to fit the slider mounts behind them and then bracket/bolt everything back. There shouldn't be any serious modifications if any at all.

Good luck with your wife lol. Maybe take a day off work and go find some type of garage or covering and work on it for the day there lol.
