Shop recommendation for body mount chop in San Francisco

Are you planning on going bigger with tire size? From the setup on your sig it doesn't seem like you would need to do that. I think finding a decent 4x4 shop in SF proper is going to be all but impossible. I do all my work down at a DIY shop in Santa Clara called Pit Row Pit Row They have the tools you would need to get this done.

My current set up is fine as is. However, I'm planning on bushwacker flares in the near future. Looking at my current set up, I think the wheel stance needs to be widened a little to look right with the flares. So looking at 1" or 1.25" spacers is why I'm considering a chop. When i lock my wheels right now, there's about 1" from edge of tire to the body mount.
Not sure if I can get away with doing upper control arms with + caster instead. I'd rather not do the control arms to have to end up doing a chop anyway.

Swat charges $350 for a chop, is this a fair price? I guess I'm willing to pay a little more if they know what they are doing.

$100. He welded on some sliders at the same time, so it might be a little more if the chop is done by itself.

Pit Row is a great resource for DIY. Been there several times with my Z06 and FJ.

I called BAMF today, they said they don't work on vehicles. They are a metal fab shop.

Hmm, he makes a lot of weld-on parts for Toyotas, it seems funny if he is not installing them for his customers any more. Did you specifically tell Jerry that you wanted a BM chop?
Maybe he would change his mind if you were also buying a set of weld-on sliders?
