It's hard to beat the Rigid, i have been using one for many years, i can't kill it, and parts are very easy to get.
Which Rigid do you have?
My shop vac brand has been with me for over 30 yrs. Has always worked great, and easy to use, and its been really abused. wheels are all broken etc,
still got the old 5 gallon shop vac brand, it works, but the suction power really weak. now all the vas these days are serviceable, so you might want to take it apart and clean out and service the filters.
I think you just have to buy high-end from both brands.
I have a newer Shop Vac, 6 gallon I think. I layed a bead of silicone around the lip of the lid and let it dry before putting it back on and it has more power and the lid doesn't leak and fall off now! :rapture:
That's a good idea. Something so simple that it would say a lot if they just did that from the start.
I think that's pretty spot on.
Leaning towards this one right now. Home Depot has a pretty good deal going on.

let us know how well it sucks. suction power should be good.
