:About the mileage, by my calculation I just got 12.4 mpg on the last tank, although that is a bit skewed since I actually traveled a fraction more miles than the odometer will read. And that is at 40psi. I have been warming her up for 10 minutes per morning though. I'll keep you updated on the mileage reports.

For proper reference, I have the V8, and my trip computer used to say around 17, but calculated mileage was between 15 and 17 on the stock tires. Now the trip computer tells me between 14 and 16, when actual calculations have been between 11 and 15. Please note, 11 was when I first had them installed, and pressure was at 32psi. I now have them at 40psi. On a weekend road trip to Chicago I calculated just above 15 mpg, which was fine for me. My last tank got me 12.4 but that is with 10 minute warm ups in the morning.

Although I'm not a Revo fan in snow and mud ( rain only ) its almost worth the trade off for the milage loss. In never buy a vehicle for milage , but that is a significant drop IMO.

I recently installed a new air filter and I inflated the tires to about 34 psi (16" tires). I also sprayed cleaner on the air intake sensor. My mileage improved a bit. With 16" SA in a V6 I'm now getting around 19 mpg highway while commonly driving at higher than average speeds. That's almost what I was getting with the Goodyear RS tires.
With oversized tires like 17" it's pretty easy to tell how much an odometer isn't reading actual mileage by comparing the readout to what the highway mileage markers say.

to do the right calculation, I still think you need like mad formulas to do it. It shouldn't be more than 1-2mpg drop at most with accurate calculations.
Things to consider:
1. Actually revolution per mile on stock tire vs. rpm with new tire.
2. Worn tires actually uses less gas than a brand new tires. (Best comparison would be brand new dunflop with brand new SA)
3. psi always matters.
4. actual mile ran compared to the odometer with bigger shoes.
5. etc.. rest of them things you need to factor in to get accurate measures.

Sorry for the confusion. I was just agreeing with you when you said that 12.4 mpg is absolutely insane. As of right now, I have the stock Bridgestones and am getting around 20-21 mpg. I will probably end up getting the Silent Armors, even though my mpgs will drop a little bit. What are you going to end up doing?
