Should I buy a 1991 Toyota LandCruiser??

I am looking at a 1991 Toyota LandCruiser to buy and I was wondering if anyone had an opinion, or better yet tips on what to look for when purchasing one? It has 120,000 miles and they are asking 3600 dollars for it. I really would like to get it as an expedition vehicle but I am hesitant as I don't know very much about the LC's, let alone a 15 year old one. Like I said any suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hey I noticed you live in Vegas. Do you currently have a 4x4 vehicle? If so, have you found any good trails around here?

Ya, I have an 05 Sport 4WD. It just seems that every time I do anything with it I am always afraid of damaging something or getting something scratched so I am just wanting to get an older 4X4 for strictly off-road/expedition purposes. Where are the trails you have found?

I don't current;y own a 4x4 vehicle. Just a old 2wd ford explorer.. lol it hasn't left me stuck yet, But its time to move on. I live in the northwest part of the valley and the closest thing to trails for me are all the way west on "alexander".. It drops you at a trail that branches off into a nice array of trails. Thats where i go when I'm riding my motorcylce or if i just want to get my car off the pavement. What part of town are you from? Heres a map of where I'm discribing. ( If you just follow Alexander all the way off to the left of your screen even when it just turns into that little grey line thats the "trailhead" per say.) try zooming in and switching the view to "aerial view"lMapquest
