should i buy these used BFG KM2s?

So a local 5th gen guy is selling some 285/75r16 BFG mud terrain KM2s for $350.
they have 11/32 tread he says they come new with 18/32 tread. is that a good deal or should i wait and get new tires?

If they are worn evenly, I would say it's a good deal. Why not?

he was going to sell them to a good friend so i would hope they would be evenly worn and in good condition for their tread wear. How do i check for uneven wear?

Get a tread depth gauge and measure three points across the tread to see what the tread is at.
