Should I buy this 4runner?

Hello all-
Im looking to upgrade to a different 4runner. This is the one i'm looking at right now. I no the mileage is a little high, but i have faith in Toyota. One thing I have a question about is the rear fenders. If you look at the picture of the rear passenger side, the bottom half of the fender and the mud flap are missing. I can prob get the price reduced for this, but any ideas on a replacement part? The only thing I could find was the Bushwacker OE flares.
So what do yall think?

miles anit nothing just getting broke in as far as that missing mud flap goes im sure you could find one here also i would look it real good for any rust

if you want the mudflap and the end of the fender flare I took it off my black 2000 T4R, make an offer if your interested.

or none at all, ask the dealer for a carfax, i didnt pay attention to wether or not its from a car lot, but if it is then they will print it out for free because dealers have accounts with carfax.

I looked at the dealer inventory, a 2000 Dodge Dakota with exactly 100,000 miles for $1,500. 98 Ford Ecoloine with 108,000 for $1,499. I think I smell something funny. Of course the name is "Atlanta Best Car".

If your really interested, get the car fax and a good mechanic to look at it.

Seems like a reasonably good deal to me. I'm pretty sure that is a Highlander (Sport) model and I think I can see a diff lock switch too. These models dont come up very often. If you want to go off road often then the locker is a major plus...
I bought a stock '00 SR5 with 87k for $11,100 last month, so I think you could talk the seller down to at least $11k.

hey guys thanks for all the responses.
I just got back from the dealership taking a better look at the 4runner. I agree the dealership is a little sketchy, but I believe in Toyotas, so I'm hoping everything is fine. I didnt get a chance to test drive it, but I got a look inside. There are two head rests in the back, and everything else looks good. I was hoping it had the diff lock, but i couldnt locate a switch. It is to the left of the steering wheel, correct? I was pretty sure this was the Highlander edition too, so I thought it would have the locker but i guess not. The outside has a few scrapes here and there, but nothing major except for the missing mud flap ((Numba1runna- if I end up buying the car, I will definitley be interested--thanks)). I didnt see any rust. Im planning on going back in a couple days for a test drive, and if things look good, I will definitley get the Carfax and have it looked at by a mechanic. Thanks again for your help!

one other thing- online the price is listed at $8,999 but the price on the window was $10, 500. I didn't get a chance to ask about this bc they were closing, but does anyone know if this is usually the case? A lower price on the internet just to reel you in? Thanks-

Many times the dealers advertise a better price on the internet than on the window. I know when I bought my 2002 Sport used from a dealership the price on the internet was thier special "internet pricing" and much lower than the window sticker. They did come down on price even more from the internet price.

I guess it is because it is easier to sell you a car when you are already at the dealership as opposed to sitting at home on your computer.

They do all they can to reel you in.

The 4RR you are looking at looks nice. The Sport/Highlander model is the way too go. Just check the Carfax.

Good luck, let us know how the test drive goes. It sounds like your doing your homework. Also, you may want to check with your insurance and see what it costs to insure.
