So the question is, should I do it? Is it worth it? Or is it a hard to notice upgrade with tons of a headaches? He's giving me a great deal, and it has the larger injector which apparently help. Please help me decide guys!

Is the great deal under the $1,500 asking price? I think that's a little steep even with the injectors.

He's doing it for $1,000 installed.

Good point tho, I actually don't know if that is even a good deal ... is it?

Go with that 2nd gen unit for sure. Easier install, easier maintenance. And that one already has the dynamic tensioner.. thats a $300 upgrade.

No no no. You want to buy the 1st gen and send me the 2nd gen. J/K. I agree with Rip.

Reading Gadget's page really has me scared about messing up my tranny. Sounds like he spent close to $2,000 just getting his 2nd gear rebuilt and torque converter adjusted. I really don't want to deal with all that. Are these common issues with the stock pulley size, etc.

Stock pulley size, no. And its not an issue with smaller pullies either as long as you dont dive like a jackwagon everywhere you go. Its just important to keep the trans temps under control.
