Should I get a Panhard bar?

Should I get this? I can tell that my rear axle is off centered because one of the tires is out a little more then the other. Am I OCD i guess so. Personally I dont mind paying 200 bucks for it. The other problem is how much do I adjust it for a 3in lift if I do get it?

You can get a panhard drop bracket for less money

and probably cut and sleeve the OEM for even less

You could always make yours adjustable. Take it out cut it weld take it to Home Depot and find the biggest nut and bolt that fits the I.D. Of the panhard and then pretty much cut a small section out of it and weld the bolt to one end and then the nut into the other. Boom adjustable panhard for an hour of work and possibly 10 bucks in material. I've done it with 3 cars already 2 of which see heavy abuse from racing and drifting. The other is still being build in the garage.

I would go ahead and do one of the options listed above. I have SS 1.2 and it came with an adjustable bar, so that was easy.

How far to adjust it: If using the stock bar and a panhard drop bracket, just drop the mounting hole as much as your truck is lifted (3" for example). For an adjustable bar, just take the panhard out and let the truck sit on it's suspension at normal ride height. You may want to drive it around the block (slow around those corners!) to make sure it is properly settled. Measure the distance from one mounting hole to the other and that is the length that you want. It should fit easily with no prying or pounding at ride height.

I've contemplated the use-age of an adjustable pan hard bar. It will also push your drive-shaft flange closer to the gas tank skid when you stuff the suspension. I guess if you are OCD it will serve it's purpose but I've never been sitting in front of an obstacle and thought, "Man....If I only had an adjustable panhard bar." I'd do a panhard drop before a longer panhard bar. Just my opinion.

Well thanks guys for the opinions. A drop bracket has to be welded though right?

correct. *and I always think the offerings seem very added-on and somewhat flimsy looking.
I would personally add more bracing to any of the retail versions.
