My 97' 4 rnr has a loose front passenger side wheel bearing. There is a fair bit of play when checking the wheel. At least a couple of mm ! There is no noise that I can hear from the bearing, however there is some vibrations beginning now when braking and it's pulling to the right. Can wheel bearings go bad without noise ? I think I should get it replaced. The garage quoted me a 3.5 hour job, does that seem about right ? Any advice ?
