I think that pearl white would be next to impossible to match.

The Natural White should be relatively easy to match and there shouldn't be any issues with paint adhesion. Silver is always the hardest color to match so should you want to paint the cladding, Natural White would probably easiest and cheapest.
If you were trying to match Golden Pearl on another vehicle ( don't believe you are), I agree with BlackCat914 in that it would be challenging to match but could be done.
Personally I like the Natural White/Silver but then again I'm a little biased.

I laughed my ass off when I read that. Thinking new piston rods, rings and valves are NOT maintenance items. lol I'd stay away from this abused truck. IMHO.

Personally I am a one tone guy. I am not a fan of the wheel well cladding or molding. I also don't care for running boards vs. nerf bar. I also like 4wd and will put rock sliders on my rig. Most of what I see you asking about is personal preference for a mostly street truck.
On the interior, I will do a a leather conversion eventually because I was spoiled with my premium package on the Mini Cooper. Leather cleans well, smells better and feels great. (I live in socal so I am not worried about seat heaters) I thought I wanted the wood trim originally but now the black plastic has grown on me for my end game goal for a rig. The next thing for me will be the floor mats. I hate carpet mats. Going to order color matched weathertech mats.
There are so many great people here with so many great ideas on how to customize your truck. Take your time, pick the one that will make you happy, and don't worry as much about maintenance or mileage. It's a Toyota. I would pay someone to "once over" it prior to purchase. It's just a little insurance policy for peace of mind. You will have to do stuff, but as I found the 3.4 is a GREAT engine.

What do you think of this one? 1999 Limited 4x4 with 185,000 miles and he's asking $6500. I'm scared to buy one that old and with that many miles.

I wouldn't worry about the mileage on these. I just picked up a 1-owner natural white/silver for the same price and a 197K mileage.
It looks like the seller has taken excellent care of it and big plus on the supercharger. Check it out and see if it fits your needs.
Nice, but it's got the supercharger which often needs to be rebuilt, right? And that's a pain in the butt/expensive.

I'm pretty sure that is a member here. Looks clean, but is overpriced again for the miles. I'd pay 9k for it, but not anymore.

100 series landcruiser. I love my 4runner and if I didn't have so much invested in it I would sell it and buy a hundy in a heartbeat.
Good call! I've already found a few with around 150,000 miles that are priced lower than the 4Runner. How the heck is this possible?
