Should the new 4runner come with a manual option?

Do you guys think the new 4runners should have a manual option? I personally would like this, I've always felt manual made the driving experience more "rugged" per se, kind of fitting with the 4runner's general vibe. Thoughts?

I don't think it fits with the platform of affordable but upscale 4x4, which seems to be the niche the 5th Gen fits into. Likewise, I would never expect to see a brand new JGC in manual.

Manuals are terrible in trucks. Torque multiplication is our friend.

Now that automatics get better mpg, manuals are going to disappear in anything that is not a sports car. That said, Toyota already did the engineering for a manual in the Tacoma, so it would be nice if they offered it to the few who want it.
