Show me your rack

My first thought, upon seeing the thread title. A quick pic of a 'Rack' of rods and pistons, I was about to install.

Even though this thread has not gone in the direction I wanted or in any direction for that matter, it is still full of win.
 
I like the idea of an internal storage location, but this wouldn't work for my tri bike. I guess I could put the window down but that wouldn't work if it was raining.

Then again, I could lay the bike down in inclement weather.

Good thinking though.

I am guessing you think it won't fit because of the bars.
Just put the mount on a bigger board and push it back further.
I guarantee if my 29er fits, you can make it happen for your tri-bike.
 
Correct, I was thinking with the bars extended as far as forward as they are, it wouldn't fit. I currently use a rack on the roof assuming the weather is nice.

Then again...I tend to be a fair weather rider/racer :)

I'll have to look into it though, always good to have an alternative.
