I think it'd be real neat if someone night-shaded over a diagonally stuck "TOYOTA" sticker on the tail lights. I have no idea where to find a flexible sticker that's the perfect size though. Nor will I be the first to try it!

I just installed a set of black Altezza tail lights. I don't know why the Altezza's are frowned upon here. I think they look pretty sharp, the black ones anyway (not the chrome). I did paint the light colored frosted edge around the perimeter black, because I didn't care for that. I think they turned out pretty good.

I am going to be making some custom tail light guards to compliment them.

Here is a picture of mine but I am really close to purchasing some OEM looking LEDs (maybe the tinted ones? what do ya'll think would look better on mine?)

Anyway, I tinted the white foggy part of my tails to match the body color.

I like a lot of the other ones in this thread, but this one has to be my favorite! It looks flawless, like it came from the factory that way! Great job!

And since it looks like we're reviving this thread.... I used plasti-dip smoke and plasti-dip glossifier on my taillights



It adds a light smoke with an almost matte finish.

How many layers is this? I've always considered plasti dip smoke.

How many layers is this? I've always considered plasti dip smoke.

I believe 3, maybe 4 layers. 2 layers of the glossifier on top of the smoke though.
There's no harm in doing it, so why not? It also looks good if you spray it on any chrome.

I tinted my tail's and masked off my reverse lights and also left the little red reflector red just to be different ad not totally blacked out . I used VHT night shade here's my finished product
