Ok, I finally got around to tinting my taillights. Made a boo boo on the first try, so i had to sand the lights down and do it over again...I like the stock taillights and I think this makes them a little less in your face than the bright red against my black t4r. I decided to mask off the reverse lights so that it still has a stock look and its not as obvious that they are smoked. (basically so i don't get pulled over).

Sanded

Taped up & wiped down

Tinted (wayy too dam dark)

Sanded em again and retinted...

Gave em a clear coat (forgot to take off tape)

Cleared em again, took tape off this time haha

mission complete

Oh yea, and I blacked out the 3rd brake light almost completely

Thanks!! and skydivingdude, i think the best way is to hold the can far back from the light and let it mist on...in strokes of course, and if its not making a difference get a little closer. worst comes to worst, you can sand em and do it again. Thats what I had to do lol

i think the OEM LED tails would look killer on your rig, but i also think the smoke ones would look good too cause they are chrome and you have chrome.... never mind i cant decide!

Thought I'd update this, many of you already know but I decided to just upgrade to the Newer Style OEM Tail lights....no L.E.D'S..

Look'in good Fight. with a row of my LED's out after a few months of owning them. You are better off with the OEM. Hope all is well for you and the family this holiday season.

I did my headlights. I liked the look but it made my head lights to dim so I took it off here's a pic.
