Show me your tail lights!

Those look great man! Nice touch on tinting the white section! Anybody else have something to show off??

I tinted my tail's and masked off my reverse lights and also left the little red reflector red just to be different ad not totally blacked out . I used VHT night shade here's my finished product

Thanks 8sm and JohnsD90! I actually installed them around the middle of October.....a few other things have transpired since doing this. Timing belt, and my winter prep on the rig mainly. Check it out on my build thread....if you haven't already!

Spenedwrds, I like how your tailights turned out! I also like how the headlights looked, but you could try something else. Why not a HID conversion with some Projectors?? You could black out the housing, and leave the glass clear....it would look almost exactly the same....but be bright!

Yea I know I'm going to do that sometime. Only thing stopping me is the funds for the retro fit. I'm putting my lift together right now. So that's going in first. Got my billies and eibach coils are on the way then a set of lc coils. Then I'll save up for the Retro fit. I can't wait. You have a great looking ride BTW!!

Will get better pics tomorrow, but I just finished putting 12" LED strips in from oznium. Tied into taillight power, have to look for them in the day when not on. Couldn't be happier, the picture simply does not do this mod justice.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of either....however...if you smoked the top ones...they'd probably look pretty cool! My 2 cents.....

I think it'd be real neat if someone night-shaded over a diagonally stuck "TOYOTA" sticker on the tail lights. I have no idea where to find a flexible sticker that's the perfect size though. Nor will I be the first to try it!

Get the LED tails. You will be happier. Those clear tails are disgusting to me. And I had those black altezza ones and ended up selling those and got some led ones instead.

Disgusting, really? I guess I just disagree with you on that one. I thought they looked awesome on Blcktpgsr's runner.

I was gonna say, the clear ones would look really nice on a Black 4runner. Now that's not to say the LEDs won't look bad either... but stay away from the Altezza set, please!!!

Ya after seeing the above picture of them on the burtman industries photo, I dont like the way look. Im guessing theyre cheap quality too

So even though it says these lights are for 2001-2002 models it will work on my 2000?

Just wanna be sure...

Sorry missed that.... you may have to modify your wiring harness for some of the bulbs. I put 01 - 02 lights on my 98, but had to swap out the light sockets on some of the lights for each side. (I think it was the reverse light.....not positive though).

It's not that hard to do, just requires that you take care, and ensure everything is taped up good and tight when you're done. I've been riding with mine for a few months now, with no issues. :)
