LOL

Not my actual one but same thing - 90 Jeep Cherokee. Drove it all across the east coast and loved it but had to replace the transmission and engine by the time it hit 80k miles.

an LR Discovery 1996...
I loved it...until i hated it. It rode great, 4WD was tankish, great road trip vehicle...and then the alternator went, then the belt pullys, then it started leaking...by the time i traded it in, the dealer said to me "they leak all over dont they?"

At the Dells in Prescott for a day of paintball.

Just after I replaced the rear springs. It settled a bit and was more level.

It had 206K on it when sold. Loved the truck, but hated the 3.slow 3VZE (main reason I got the current V8).

1977 Nissan G60 Patrol. It was such a hunk of shit, but I loved that thing like a child, haha

2001 Frontier... had lots of fun with it. I was happy to sell to a young kid buying his first truck. This pic must be right when I got it... I took off the step bars, added fog lights...

No photos but the pickup version of the Cherokee called the Commanche. I actually bought it twice - I had sold it to my Dad and bought it back a few years later.

Here's a fuzzy picture of my first - a 1988 Chevy S-10 Blazer, taken shortly after I bought it new. What sold me on it was that Chevy had just started putting in the 4.3 liter V-6, making it the quickest of the small SUV's at the time (the old 2.8 models were slugs). I sold it in 1995 at 130,000 miles; the buyer put another 120,000 miles on it before it died. It was a bucket of rattles, but it was relatively trouble-free, and very easy to work on. :)

1984 Subaru GL Wagon. Manual, 4x4 with Low Range. I owned it living the PNW, drove it for several years and sold it for what I paid for it. It was a forest road bomber and was hard to stop. Had a gold one just like this AD.

First new vehicle i bought, too! 2011 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. I added bike rack on top, larger sway bars and rally mud flaps. Was fun to zip around town, to the mountains and the beach. Never did or wouldn't do any trails in this car though.

Sold the Impreza for a Tacoma Prerunner, and then that for my 4x4 4Runner.

Not my personal vehicle pictured but had a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited, was tons of fun until headgasket blew at 46k miles and the electrical gremlins took over.

Wish I had a picture of it but my first 4x4 was a 1967 cj5 with a 1971 304 transplant in it that I traded a horse to a guy for.

This was my first 4x4. It was a 1986 Nissan SE V6 King Cab. It had a set of chrome rims i bought from a junk yard ,wrapped in 32 inch super swampers. It was a standard shift with a removable sunroof, aftermarket radio. I put a set of lights on the roof rack and with the camper back i made a awning for the back and with a couple of tent poles and stakes it was a camping machine/ mudder. That truck was put to the test It took me hunting for a lot of years.I bought it from my father. I guess he didnt want a rusty truck.
