Showoff Your Rock Sliders

I am interested as well because I will be in the market for one in the near future. I kinda live near Stubbs Welding which is in Susanville, CA. They make rock sliders and very high quality.

sorry I am picture illiterate still

Sorry I don't do forum photos yet, but I am running All Pro Off Road sliders.

Powdercoated black and welded on.

Also had All Pros on my previous Runner-2nd gen. Good prices and they do not gouge on the shipping.

Very happy with them but wish I had added some grit to the upper "step" surface for slippery when wet times.

Battle scarred already, I need to do some grinding for rust removal and rattle can repaint.

Stubb Sliders all the way.

Click on the link in my sig for pics of my 4Runner.:D

Your build up looks good, and so do your sliders. :bigok:

I'm interested if anyone has the ShrockWork's sliders on their 3rd Gen. Those are the ones I'm most interested in.

Shrockworks..bolt on, some drilling required. These are the prototypes for the 4runner (as in legths), there are only a couple out there as they are not on our site yet. They are the same mounting design as our pre 05 Tacoma sliders using a 1/2" bolt on the on the side and bottom of the frame on each mount. Rock slidable, HiLiftable, foot stepable, Anti door dingage...what do you need? :bigok:

I actually have a funny customer slider story:

Customer parks in a hurry (admittedly to close to the line next to a BMW) at a grocery store but figures he'd be in and out quick to use the ATM so he left it. As he walks back out he see's the BMW owner irritated as he's getting into his car, and before he could say anything, (like, "I'll move") the BMW owner tries to open his door HARD to dent his rig....Customer see's the guy only hit the slider tube and made a big tube dent in his BMW door (BMW guy even more pissed) the customer says "bet you wish you didn't do that" and get's into his rig with a smile.

I want to get some new sliders but I'm on a budget. I was thinking about getting some Savage Off-Road sliders w/kickout. Anyway, let's see some new pics of your sliders!

as i posted a couple weeks ago, just installed the shrockworks sliders. love them because they stick out just far enough to double up as steps for my wife.

my trailgear sliders were 150$ shipped,
get the longer 67" ones... trust me, the 58" ones are too short

look em up on Ebay, trail-gear.com has them backordered.

I wouldnt pay more than that for sliders, its a waste of money.

I am running the All Pro w/Kickout. I wasn't sure on which color to get the sliders finished in. Black, to match my ARB or Silver finish to match the Millenium silver. Instead, I went in between and coated them in Anthracite :) Pics soon!

Got any better pics of the them? Very interested. How hard were they to install?

Bump to resurrect this thread. My Budbuilts are in the mail and now looking for the next piece of armor... Sliders.

Mike, go with BAMF (Bayareametalfab.com). I will have mine on in a few weeks and he is local. Right in Benicia. They are a hybrid design and super beefy.

Here's the only picture I have of them.

Dang, those are sexy. If I didn't already have sliders, I'd get those for sure.

^Yeah I'm pumped to get them on, but I have to find time first. I bet you know all about that. They will be on before my June SoCal trip though.

Here is a better picture Jerry just took. They will be on his site once I get them welded on.
