I apologize for the redundant "threads." I deleted the other one just to simplify things a bit. At this time, we have 24 people interested in participating with this Group Buy. Below is a list of the names who have made some form of commitment:

So, here's the latest and greatest from Mark is: he counts total number of products ordered, not the total number of people participating. So, if one person orders two bumpers then that is two going toward the 20 total products we need to order to receive 15% off. I don't know if that's implied or not, but I just wanted everyone to know so we're all on the same page. Furthermore, given some of the other people's experiences with Shrockworks, this GB could take over four months to receive your products...if that's the case, don't forget you get an additional 10% off. At this point, I'm hoping for a total of 25% off. Someone asked about shipping to Alaska: Mark said that's not a problem, but could be pricey. He estimated a shipping cost of $500-600.

Out of curiosity, how do they handle the payment? Do they charge up front, time of delivery, half/half, etc? Thanks for all the info and updates.
I am also curious about payment. It would be hard to pay 100% this time of year, but if i could split payment between now and shipment, I would be in for a 3rd gen front bumper. Also, is there any opportunity to drop ship multiple orders to a region to save some coin on shipping? I would be interested in splitting shipping costs to socal.

I believe it's pay 100% up front or 50% up front with the other 50% when product goes to powder coating.

I'd be interested in sliders and possibly rear bumper. Both depending on timing.
According to Mark, typically what occurs is you will put 50% down when you place the order and then pay the other 50% right before he ships your product. I sent Mark an e-mail about how he would like the orders to be conducted and payment methods...so when he responds I'll post the information to the Shrockworks Group Buy thread. There is no specific end date as of now. We have enough people (24), now I'm waiting for the "interested" folks to give firm commitments so we can get these orders placed. Hopefully, Mark will provide some information as to the way he wants the receipt of orders to take place and then I'll give a "no later than" date for everyone to have their orders placed. I hope this answers some of your questions/concerns.

Therefore, either you're in or you're out. Once I've receive some additional payment information from Mark, I'm going to set a "no later than" date for everyone to have their orders placed. I suspect I'll hear from Mark at some point today or tomorrow and then I'll give everyone a week to place their orders.
I don't see why combining shipping would be a problem. Link up with the person you want to ship with and just combine the orders...too easy.
Lastly, I appreciate everyone's patience with me! This is the first time I've organized a Group Buy so, hopefully, I haven't pissed too many people off

Payment:
"Credit card through our website. If they want to do half down and the remainder just before shipment, they can select “credit card by phone” at checkout. Then, just call in with their card info and I’ll do half and half.
Discount Code:
"I haven’t made the coupon code yet. When you tell me the group buy is good to go, I’ll make a code and send it to you."
So, at this point all we need now to get 11 more people to fully commit to the Group Buy.
