Put me down as a confirmed for a 3rd gen front bumper.

Just a couple questions though....

1). Let's say we reach 20 tomorrow...will the code be given out right away and the 4 month clock starts immediately? (well, as soon as we make payment at least.) Or is there going to be an official "end date" to the group buy at some later time, and the 4 month clock starts then?

2) Bear with me, I'm playing devil's advocate here (lol)....
It's fine and dandy that they're offering the additional 10% off if it goes over 4 months. But is there anything beyond that that guarantees completion by a certain date? I only ask because I can see a situation where they exceed 4months, have to give up the extra 10%, then they no longer have any incentive to finish our products in a timely manner after that.

You bring up some excellent questions! I'll contact Mark and see what he has to say. My guess, at this point, is that the four month countdown will begin on the "end date" of the group buy. As for any additional incentives to keep Shrockworks diligent with completing our products, at this point, I would think money. Most of us are doing 50% upfront and the other 50% upon shipment. They'll have a lot of resources invested in this Group Buy and if they're sitting on 20 products and lets say the average product costs $1,200, well $600 x 20 = $12,000. However, that's just me drawing my own conclusions.

This is interesting. And just another way for me to blow more money! My front BudBuilt is beat up pretty bad. To the point where it's an ever bigger pain than normal to change the oil. Depending on Schrockworks' design and compatibility with Bud's transfer case skid, I may be interested.

At this point, it's impossible for me to commit without having seen any pics or have real-world, in-use feedback.

Having said all that, will they extend the discount to Schrockworks accessories, especially for existing bumper owners?

Hung...you bring up some good questions. I have not seen any picture either...what I did was look at their 5th gen 4Runners. I'm sure it's going to look similar...at least I'm hoping! Mark said everything is suppose to be out shortly.

The only reason I know anything about it...I was talking about doing a rear bumper and asked why they don't have a 3rd gen skid plates. Which he replied they were getting read to release them soon and that I could...if I wanted to...add them to my order through the G/B.

In the past group buys for them once the number was hit I think they have a two week window for the code, roughly. The 4 months started at the close of the group discount ordering period not when it starts. They have a good reputation for quality, the lead time is always long, even for folks that pay full price! I think I have seen some bumpers take 6 months from other comments, when they have been busy. I think the summer but that happened everyone got their stuff in the window, barely. But no complaints about the finished product. Honesty I couldn't runa business like that but that's why I waited for a winter buy, by the time it gets here we will be melting.

LOL...I can empathize. Every time I talk about truck parts my wife just rolls her eyes. I think the only reason I don't catch more crap from her is because I'm constantly using the excuse, "I'm learning about truck stuff so I have something to teach our son." So far, that excuse has been a gem.

According to Mark, he will do everything he can to time the builds so that he makes his four month mark. If he doesn't make it, they will continue to work diligently so that everyone gets their products as soon as possible, but won't sacrifice quality for time. I hope that helps, man!

We got our numbers! Good work, guys! I'm going to call mark after my appointment to negotiate how long the group buy is open for. Currently, he wants it for Fri to Mon or something along similar timeframe.

Can't do more than 15%...we've asked. So, we can hope for him not making their timeline.

I'll provide more info once I speak to mark.
