I received my shipping email a week ago. My bumper was supposed to show up this past Monday but, according to the tracking, it's still a State away. I'm guessing it'll probably be Friday before it shows up. Cutting it close with the 4 months! lol
If it shows up by the weekend....then my Outdoor Logic bumper will be up for sale on Monday!

I picked my bumper up there today. They had tons of stuff in the various stages of packaging and shipment. When I was paying, there was this big calendar on the wall with "T4R Group Buy Due" written across this week. They're definitely busting their collective butts to get it done.

Sliders 4 days after install noticing rust where powder coat missed or was not applied heavy enough. Mainly on just passenger side. What's the best way for me to touch up? I know I can't just spray paint on top of rust.
I'm no expert, but what I would do is try to get as much of the rust off as you can via sand paper or wire brush, clean the area off with a specialty product....dupli-color makes something you can use to prep the area for re-painting, and then apply some black rust inhibiting paint. Personally, I'm using the por-15 system on my bare metal sliders and skids. The blacks may not match perfectly, but at least you won't see orange rust

Yeah, I'm pretty annoyed actually considering the cost. Appreciate the feedback. Money I should not have to spend on $600+ sliders. Hell, cheap Toyota runners don't rust outa the gate.
Hell, money and time. I can sympathize with frustration. After previous experiences, ill stick with prep-ing and painting myself. Yes, it's long and tedious, but at least I'm not paying for the service.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. One more reason for me to save the cost of powder coating and paint myself once I get mine. Anyway, I posted this thread a few months ago and Kyle mentioned that a Honda Nighthawk black pearl matches the powder coat pretty well. I can't testify to this, but I just wanted to let you know.

I got mine last week and the powdercoat and quality is top notch, I did however run into an issue when I installed them. They installed fairly easily but I noticed the driver side didn't fit quite right, the gap between the slider and the rocker panel differed about 3/4" from the front to the back. I contacted them with my issue and sent pics of the fitment. Mark quickly responded acknowledging the alignment issue and offered suggestions to help better fit them. I did as he suggested and it did help but still not perfect, now it's about a 1/2" difference. Not terrible but noticable, I keep telling my OCD that it's OK.
Did you get bolt on or weld on sliders? can you post Mark's recommendations? That info might help out some other folks...

I got the bolt ons for the 5th Gen. On mine the front gap was really close to the rocker and the rear gap was about an inch. I loosened all the bolts brought the front down as much as I could and tightened the bolts starting with the rear. The front I tightened the two side bolts first and finished with the bottom. After bringing the front down the mounting tab on the bottom in the front developed a gap away from the frame that was closed after tightening the bottom bolt. Hope you can decipher my explanation

That sucks, sounds like they are rushing items out the door. You should get a partial refund because I assume you dont want to take them off & send back.

Just installed my sliders this weekend and noticed the top of my passenger slider had a gauge in it, not huge but still down to the bare metal and already starting to rust. Going to try and contact Mark on Monday and see what he says.
