Not that quick. First post 8/4, Code posted 9/1 with orders open through 9/5.
It's now 10/8 well over a month later, after it's been closed. I admit the OP could close the thread so it would stop popping up, but it seems none of the group buy OP's do that, so I can't hold that against anyone.
You just need to check the group buy section more often. :gossip:
Funny thing...over at Tacoma World there is a *potential* group by for Shrockworks they are trying to put together if they can get 20 people.
I suspect the OP would gladly like to have a couple additional 4Runner guys on board the TW group buy so he can get to the minimum count.
Shrockworks seems quite popular with the 4Runner guys. The FJ guys and Tacoma guys apparently have never heard about them and are missing the boat.

Even Funnier is this one had plenty participants and we all ordered already. I know I got my order.....several other members have posted they got theirs already as well.
I'm not sure where the confusion is on this (it's probably me), however is good to know there is another one starting up on Tacoma World. I might need some more stuff!!!

Did you have to drill holes in the frame? Is the install pretty easy to do by yourself?

I drilled one hole on the passenger side but you have the option to drill a couple of more for added strength. I opted to pass on that part.
I did the install by myself and it was doable, would have been easier with a second set of hands or a couple of jacks. I have a 2016 TEP so you have to use the sticknuts on a few of the holes and it takes a little work to them into position while trying to balance everything.
Take a couple of minutes and read through the directions instead of diving right into it like I did. The driver side has a gusset that has to be bolted on but its not mentioned until the end of the directions for that side. So, I lost one sticknut in the frame and added a few more minutes to the install correcting that mistake. Also, get the gas tank as empty as you can. I did mine with a little less than 1/8th and it went fine.

So my sliders came earlier than even FedEx said, I can't believe they are here and how more beefy they are in person. I have to mention really how nice the welds/powder coat and total fit and finish are, top notch work guys, thanks.
I do have one question from others whom have received/installed, where did you locate directions? I located a little pack of hardware, but didn't want to tear open rest of packing(also very professionally done) until ready to install, but like reading the directions ahead of time so the info sinks in, so if anybody can post their copy or tell me where to keep searching into the foam I would appreciate it

Just had to drill one hole. Passenger side front bottom. Installation is pretty straight forward.
I just got on this thing already and the OP seems to be cool about it. They still need more people to make it work, so if anyone else is still interested, hit their site and add your name to it.

Just went to Tacoma World but didn't see any threads in the Group Buy section. Could you link me please? I'm definitely interested in adding to that group.
Hefty steel, Top notch welds and durable powdercoating! The front lower brackets had about 1/4 inch gap. I just bought rubber and stainless washers to fill the gap and used the bolt and stick nut. All good. All the drilling took place on the passenger side. Did not really have to remove the KDSS lines, just unbolt the gas tank strap and gas tank skid plate bolts. Functional steps and slider protection, best of both worlds! Thanks Shrockworks!
