Shudderfix ATF additive?

Hi guys, wondering how many people here have used Shudderfix and what your experience has been?

https://www.amazon.com/Lubegard-19610-Tranny-Instant-Shudder/dp/B0002JMLQU

I was starting to get a barely noticeable shudder around 35mph or so (3rd gear? low revs...) and I added that stuff. The trans. fill bolt was the only bolt on my car I've ever needed to work with that didn't require a breaker bar to get to (lol) and it worked perfectly. I think I might get a second tube just in case because now once a week (or every two weeks) I MIGHT get a little bit of something.

Tl:dr get 2 tubes, the stuff is great!

Mine was getting really bad so I did a 4 quart drain/refill with a tube of shudder stop. Granted my transmission fluid was nasty, but it made an immediate difference. Haven't had another issue since. Going to do another 4 quart change this weekend, and then another next month since I only drive the 4runner about 1000/month so I wanted to give it some time to work through.

The Shudder Fixx should be in there all the time, so if I were you I would add a tube each time you do the drain and fill or add a tube on the last drain and fill, or you'll be losing the advantage of having the Shudder Fixx in there at all, since you'll be draining some of it out each time you drain out some fluid!

My fluid was pretty bad so I wouldn't even doubt that was a huge part of my problem. I'll add another tube when I do the next 4 quart drain/refill next month.

I think you'll be fine to wait until you do the last drain and fill to add the Shudder Fixx, since you won't be draining all of the first tube out simply by draining out only 3 to 4 quarts on the second drain and fill.

Hey man, I had the rumble strip issue in my transmission and did a complete flush of the TC and the tranny and then put some BG ATF additive in there which can be purchased here https://www.amazon.com/BG-ATC-Plus/dp/B00D7FSFTS

My father works at a BMW dealer and all they use is the BG stuff. I have not had an issue since and its been nearly 5k since ive done it
