Side Exit Exhaust

Sorry for the less than stellar picture quality but the camera is broken so the phone had to do. It turned out very nice and i cannot wait to have it welded on. Have an appointment with the shop on friday afternoon.

And you can still see the magnaflow imprint through the coating, nice touch.

whoa. that is awesome. make more we will buy!

Ok so the question is:

WHY HAVEN'T YOU INSTALLED IT YET???

Man I wish I could have had it on the instant I picked it up, but they guy who has done all the work thus far is not at the shop until friday. I feel as if he should be the one to weld it on seeing as I am very very pleased with the work that was done. Still killing me to look at it in the garage and not on the 4runner though.

Can you post your total out of pocket to have this made welded and painted etc. I'd love to get this done too

Thank you sir!

Yeah...and if you don't feel comfortable posting feel free to PM me with that info. Hell, I might be able to make a special trip out to AC if you are somewhere in Southern Jersey along the way! haha.

Exhaust tip was Magnaflow part #35136 for $32.69 on amazon. The pipe, hangar, fab work and installation was right around $150. And the powder coating was $100 even. So about $280 all said and done. It's a bit pricey but I really like how it all turned out so I would do it again in a heart beat. I'm really getting anxious to get it on the vehicle!

seeing that exhaust makes me feel kinda funny. Like when we used to climb the rope in gym class.

I will ask him tomorrow when I'm having mine put on. I'm sure It's possible, just have to take some measurments and make a template. I'll also ask on price per piece to make a few.

A teaser for everybody, removed of about in inch of the powder coating back down to clean metal to allow for a nice bond with the weld without meting the powder coating. I see no problem with this holding up as it was a pain to get off and clean.

More pics later once its finally on! Work cannot go by fast enough.

I think that looks awesome, and it's nicely done and finished. I have one question though... What happens to the exhaust cutout in the rear bumper? May look a little strange with nothing there...

The trail doesn't have a cutout you can see, its under the bumper and not visible.

Not to delay any further.... Enjoy!

Very Nice Esteban!Looks great:thumb3:

Let us know if the side exhaust exit helped eliminate the exhaust fumes with the rear window down too. That's my main objective.
