Side mirror puddle light upgrade

I wonder if these are a plug and play for those of us without factory puddle lights? Our Pro doesn't have them.
 
It says only for those already with lights.
Looks like they'll throw a good amount of light in a broad area. But for $13 can get a 10 pack of LEDs to swap in. The 10 pack will cover 2x puddle lights, 2x map lights, and the courtesy lights in all 4 doors.
 
Man I just wish they had these when I did mine...
Guess soon will be time to do again
Can you post updates after you tested them?

Everything Meso sells is "coming soon"

Cool products, and he's a real smart guy and has a background in design and production (clearly, based on the quality he's releasing) but he hardly ever has anything in stock.

edit: when this thread was first posted these has a price tag of $99

They were $100 even plus $7.66 shipping

A bit pricey but I'm excited to test these out. They're 400 LM which is the same as the bulbs I have in there now, but given the circular pattern I think I will get better light throw out the sides. I will post pics once I get them installed

ohhhh WTF Toyota.. so damn weird a Pro does not have puddle lights when in fact, they'd be most helpful when off-roading. :twitch:

OK, how did you and [MENTION=51033]97BlackAckCL[/MENTION] get these puddle lights? As others have said the website says “Coming Soon”.

A lot of their products are Coming Soon or Sold Out. I wonder what’s up with them. They apparently just got back from a China business trip to ramp up manufacturing of new products. But their existing product line has been neglected and unavailable for months.

I purchased them right away when they were available. They were available for a few days but I guess he sold out right away. Seems like most his products sell out right away.

Would love to know how you got them installed. Haven't had time yet to install them. Maybe this weekend...

They don't come with any instructions though but I guess I can YOUTUBE a video. Found similar related vids on how to replace the puddle lamps.

I've taken the mirrors apart 3 times now, it's super easy. Should be the same steps as replacing the bulb, only you have to snap out the housing and replace it with this one. I can post more pics when I do it, but won't be till next weekend
