I always wondered what happened to all the cars that are being produced but not sold.
What kills me is that GM is about to run out of cash, all of the other auto manufacturers are in trouble, but yet, they keep turning out new cars.
Wouldn't it be better to do something like stop production for a month rather than getting to the point where you're closing plans for good and going bankrupt?
It's also scary that recycled paper isn't moving back to Asia. It's incredible that those container ships usually leave the U.S. port with mostly empty containers, and now even more are empty.

it really is unfortuante that we are living in these really tough times. However, we did this to ourselves. The world, especially Alpha countries (US, China, Russia, etc.) just keeps producing, growing, building, etc. I know this is vital to our existence but where is the balance. There is no balance in the world. All we do is take, take, take, with minimal givinig back.
We take so much fish that our fisheries are hurting. We produce so much that we pollute the air we breath. We build so much that we kill the natural beauty and use all the natural resources. We need so much money that we loan ourselves into poverty.
There needs to be more balance in the world. If you are going to cut down a forest here...you must replant another forrest over there. Blue fin tuna shouldn't be accessible all year around, there shouldnt be any blue fin tuna fishing during spawning seasons to ensure their existence. This goes for all resources.
I know this is off topic, but I dont feel bad for all these companies going bankrupt or that our economy is shitty. My wife was a flight attendant for Aloha Airlines until they went bankrupt and laid off all their employees. My family is right in the thick of it all.
A natural economical "culling" is going on right now. We are all forced to cut excess out of our lives now because we allow so much access to be apart of our lives. And to me it is a good thing...like Darwin's survival of the fittest. If you cant survive these times, then you wont last too long.
After all is said, my heart and prayers go out to families struggling because we are dropping the ball on our lovely, beautiful planet. All our planet did, was to provide us with the resources and the tools. All we are doing is raping her and pillaging her.

Basically it shows a vast parking lot of cars being imported from abroad and sitting waiting to be delivered to dealers who cannot handle any more vehicles since they can't sell them. Since no one wants to spend money (especially big money), these cars will sit for a long time. Good luck with any special orders, maybe in 12-16 months they'll deliver one...
