Silencing Alerts

Okay - I always drive with my seatbelt on...always.

But, I find my 2013 SR5 to be a bit naggy. If I'm moving it from my curb to my neighbors curb or something, it freaks out and starts beeping at me and then gets angry and starts beeping more aggressively.

Yesterday I brought home a bunch of bags of compost and I left the gate up while I unloaded and spread them one at a time. After a while, it freaked out and started alarming me that my gate was up...yeah, I know.

Just a nit, but I wonder if any of you have figured out how to selectively silence these notices.

I purchased a Carista on Amazon and downloaded the app on my IPhone. It allows you to program multiple functions including seat belt alarms. It worked well but it comes with only a short time period of free use and then wants you to purchase a plan for additional use.

In addition to carista you can have the dealer program all that stuff out. Just mention it at your next service.
