Silver Rear nameplate

Ok I'm sure the info is around and I'm bad at searching but I'm looking for the part number for the silver not the chrome rear "4Runner" badge.

Seems to be the one on the chrome handle but can only find the part number for with or with out camera but not for different finishes.

I bought this one after some brake fluid from a trailer leaked from the reservoir and splashed on the 4runner logo damaging the 4runner words only. Everything else was fine, this part number is just the word "4Runner"

Yeah that's the part number I keep finding. My question is there seems to be the "chrome" one which is what I have but after swapping to the teq badge I am looking for one I saw on a limited today which was more of a bushed aluminum look so that it contrasted on the chrome handle of the limited.

Can post pictures later of the two if it's not clear.
 
Toyota has never offered anything other than the chromed plastic, what you saw was either aftermarket, or had been painted

I have seen two now on completely stock trucks surprises me they would do that and nothing else so figured there was something I was missing

Not true.

75431-35060 is for silver (not chrome) 4Runner lettering. I know this for a fact because I replaced that whole panel on mine.

My 2013 SR5 originally came with a chrome panel with silver 4Runner lettering and chrome Toyota oval. I replaced it with the black panel from a 2010-2013 Trail model, and bought the new 4Runner letters and oval at the same time to make the swap a little easier.
 
ok, sorry guys i completely misread the original post. seems the OP is after the handle panel, not the lettering. 75431-35060/75431-35050 is for the "4Runner" lettering


@OP the rear handle panel has come in a few different finishes depending on the year and trim model (ie. previous years of the trail and canadian sr5 models came with black plastic, others have been colour matched, amd limited models have been silver). so to answer your question properly, we'll need to know the specific truck

Ok, here's a picture of my tailgate and the receipt for the 3 parts you see in the picture. Note the difference between the Toyota oval (chrome) and the 4Runner lettering (not chrome).

Well I bet you must feel pretty stupid for having two different colour emblems on your truck side by side like that :behindsofa:

Took an hour on google to sort out that the 60 is from the Limited, not sure why toyota lists the 50 as for models "w/o camera" when clearly that is not the case. Oh well. :yo:

I would have preferred them both be the same finish, but that's the way it came from the factory too. The only difference now is the black panel. The part # ending in 60 is not just from the limited....that is exactly the same part that was originally on my SR5.

I still have the all of the old parts, and will eventually try painting the other set of letters and oval blizzard pearl.
 
My nameplate came in and just wanted to confirm for anyone looking to get rid of the chrome that the part number listed is definitely the silver

Remove nameplate

So out of curiosity, how do you remove the nameplate? I have been thinking to replace it with the hilux surf name plate. But I am not sure how to remove the 4runner.

Put it in the sun or heat it with a hairdryer/heatfun then take some dental floss a couple layers folded on its self then just slide it behind the badge and work it back and forth. Then use a dry rag or your finger and rub most of the tape residue off then goo gone for the last little bit. If it's not clear there are lots of more detailed walk throughs all over the Internet just search debadging
 
be VERY careful using a heat gun. if you do, start on the lowest temp and work your way up. the plastic garnish melts easily
 
Only trying to warm it up don't need to get anything too hot. I'm in south Florida so I don't use anything I just park it so the sun is hit it for 30 minutes
