Silverline exhaust tip question

I've looked through all the exhaust threads and I think I'm going to do the side exit with a silverline tip.
I was looking online at prices and I think this is the one I want but the overall length has me concerned. It says it's 2.5'' In. 3.5'' Out which is ok but the length is 22''. That sounds like it would be too long yet I can't find anything shorter.

Take your car to a muffler shop and tell them what you want. They'll even put on a chrome tip for you.

I was going to weld it myself. I did a quick measurement and it looks like 12'' would be ideal (that's what she said... ha)

You said 22" which is MOAR than 12" lol.

Try pulling out a 22incher and see how far you get with that. lol
