i was in autozone the other day looking at headlights and noticed both looked almost the same on the chart. is anybody running either one of these and can give a good word on them? it has been raining pretty bad here lately and my luminics pure blue are just not what i need as it is almost impossible to see in rain.

I finally had one of my original Silverstars burn out after about 3 years so I upgraded to the Ultras and compared side by side the Ultras were actually a little more whiter and brighter but not drastically much but definetly noticeable. In the wet they are maginally better but I helped out the head lamps with Optilux Yellow H3s in the fogs.

So far I'm happy with them and they are a solid upgrade over the regulars.
yea man the more pictures the better.

and i know what you mean, the one day it snowed here in Alabama like last month i was in Tennessee and saw no snow... go figure

OK, I'll post some pics in the dark where you can actually see the lights. The only one I have here at work is the attached pic, where the lights don't look near as bright as they are in the dark..

OK, here's the best I could do without a tripod. I didn't have my tripod, so the aperture is set at like f/3.6, meaning the camera is letting the least amount of light in as possible, keeping the low light pictures in focus. So, imagine these much brighter.

I guess I'm in the minority then since I'm running the H4 PIAA Extreme White Plus bulbs :). I'll try to post some pictures from the view head on and the view from the driver's seat. I've had them installed for a little over 1.5 yrs and have been very pleased w/ them. At the time, I paid $45 for the pair.

Here's a comparision shot I took the day I installed them. The oem bulb is still installed in the passenger side housing and the PIAA bulb in the driverside housing:

EDIT: Oh and that light dusting of snow we got in AL a month ago was great :D. I enjoyed watching everyone freak out and run to the grocery stores the day before the snow was to hit.
