I hardwired mine using the USA Spec Aux Input and I think the sound is great also. A BIG difference from using the FM frequency. I don't really have a problem with it at all and am very happy. I will admit that some of the talk radio sounds AMish but I also think it all depends what vehicle you have it in also as my neighbor has it in his Chevy Silverado and it sounds like crap but I have it in my 05 Runner with JBL and it sounds great. Just my 2 cents.
