Slip indicator light VS VSC light

Lately my slip indicator light has come on and beeps when i make slight turns at around 30+mph. I never feel the car slipping or skidding and im barely turning the wheel, maybe 30-45 degrees at most when it comes on. As soon as I straighten out, all is well. the frightening part is that it will what feels like, apply the brakes to one of the wheels and pull the truck to the side. I havent figured out how to reproduce that but always can get the light to come on on the way to work at specific turns. I have zero reset calibrate the VSC twice as metiond in other post but still have the same problem. The VSC light has never came on or stayed on either during the issues.

So what is the difference when in straight line acceleration and hit a slick spot, the slip indicator light comes on and doesn't beep but the VSC kicks in and cuts power VS during a turn like on a on/off ramp the Slip indicator light turn off but beeps like crazy with no VSC action but the ABS kicks in and applies brakes to driver front wheel. Been trying to diagnose myself before breaking down and going to dealer. Last thing i did was clean the front ABS sensors esp the front drivers side which seems the one the ABS kicks on to. I was going to replace the whole sensor and harness next

So I experience the same thing on a daily basis. Firstly, it is not (well should not be) the traction control "slip control is how you were referring it" that kicks on during a turn, but rather the vsc (vehicle stability control). When going around a turn, even at 30mph the vsc can kick in and begin making a beeping noise, this is do to the computer reading inputs of a possible rollover situation. These trucks have a very high center of gravity, and if you put a lift its even worse.

Now the traction control "slip control" should kick in when one or more wheel/s loses power. This is entirely different than the vsc.

So it's the VSC not the Trac that's automatically applying the brake to the front driver wheel to correct the "loss of control". Any idea what sensors to look at to stop this from happening???

Same issue here with the vsc coming on prematurely, i haven't experienced the issue when making a turn unless i actually loose traction in the corner tho, mine comes on most of the time when starting to move from a stop sign or red light in a straight line, and every single time when in 4x4, starting in 4x4 is nearly impossible, it kicks in on completely dry surface as soon as the car is starting to move and i have to let off the throttle and apply throttle again quickly before it comes to a full stop again, It makes it very dangerous making left turns at a intersection. Has anyone been able to resolve this issue ? When i went to toyota dealer they pretty much said the system is doing what its designed to do
My next step will be to re calibrate the Vsc system (does anyone have a link on how to do it?) if that doesnt resolve i will start looking at all my sensor on the wheels and wiring.

The dealership could be right - if your tires are breaking free from the road surface, even momentarily, the system may engage when operating correctly. Think about the condition of the road surface and your tires when this occurs.

If you don't have any codes, the system thinks it's working correctly. That means it has communication with all the sensors and the inputs are consistent. If you have momentary/intermittent sensor output issues, the system sees that as differences in wheel speed and engages traction control to compensate. First thing - visually check condition of wiring & sensors. Visually check tone rings for chipped/missing teeth and cracks. Make sure air gap between tone ring and sensor is not too great.

Regarding recalibration - I am not familiar with this procedure. Found a reference that follows that is detailed and makes sense to me....post back and let us know how it goes....
