2004 4Runner, V8 Limited
I initially had a steering issue which I discovered was the u-joint on the intermediate shaft.
Once I got to replacing that I realized I needed to place both CV-shafts.
Then I realized I had to replace both calipers.
Then I had to replace the hydraulic tubes from the calipers.
All this lead to about 10-days with the vehicle non-operating.
So after all these items had been replaced, I took it for a spin.
At low speeds the slip indicator light came on and the automatic breaking system (ABS) started engaging. I drove it down the driveway (about 400 ft) and back.
So I am thinking I damaged the speed sensor (1 or both) or the wire harness.
I haven't pulled the speed sensors to determine if they actually are damaged.
If it isn't apparent by looking at the sensors, any ideas on how to deermine what is damaged?
