Hey guys. I have a quick question. I greased my slip yokes a few months ago with three to four pumps of grease each at around the 12k mile mark. More recently, I've been reading more about the dangers of over greasing and have developed a bit of neurosis over it. Thought I'd shoot this picture to see if I can get some opinions. Does it look like I've put an excessive amount in? The arrows point to what I believe might be expansion. Does this seem to be more expansion than desired? The vehicle seems to drive normal as I haven't noticed anything unusual, ie. rough driving over bumps or loud noises, but I thought I'd get everyone else's opinion. Also, as added info, the truck is stock ride height, but I plan on lifting as soon as I get to the rest of my suspension components. If there is more grease than necessary, would you guys remove the zerks and compress the excess grease out, or would you potentially just let the lift offset things?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
