I have a SR5 V6 4WD with 55000 miles on it. I have noticed recently that when i am taking off from say after stopping at a store(reverse gear and all...) the vehicle goes slowly and then BOOM surges forward. Never happens in the highway or in traffic lights. And no this has nothing to do with the mats.
I am wondering if this is a clutch issue or gas not getting to the engine properly.. Maybe i need a gas filter change?
