They look great and I am now interested in doing the same on my truck. Could you give me an overview of your install? I'm interested to know what tricks if any made this install easier for you. Also what tools are needed other then a squeegee(sp?). Is there any bubbles, wrinkles, or defects after the install?

I used an old bottle from Armor All and mixed a solution of 30% rubbing alcohol/70% water. I used it to clean the lense first, then sprayed the hell out of it and the back of the film before applying (also my hands). Then I lined up the edge nearest to the back hatch since that will be seen the most. Then I squeegeed straight across in the middle of the film. After that, it was a lot of pulling (and I freakin mean pulling!) at the top corners on the side of the housings to get the film to cover the lense and also to get out the wrinkles in the film. Then, a sharp utility knife is all that is needed to smooth out the edges. Looks pretty good. Have a needle on hand to puncture the film to get any bubbles out. Any other imperfections will evaporate through the film after a few days in the sun.

nite shades

Orielleys sales a translucent paint for lenses. I did my 94' 4r. The paint is 10 dollars a can. I've only had one can and i have done my 3rd brake light, corners, blinkers,and taillights. i did the taillights twice and still have some left. i also took some clear in a spay can for a gloss. the paint looks really good if the taillights are shiny. I had to clear the taillights beacause they were dull.
