:( does the 5th gen have sufficient seals to keep water from coming? Has anyone gone in like 3+ feet of water and know?

Airflow america has been working on a prototype, still do not know the release date. I am meeting with a company that does expedition vehicle builds this weekend, they are going to see if any existing snorkels can be modified for our truck.

Here's a video of jam23r1 taking his in water deeper then I would care to take mine. Especially without a snorkel.

Should have kept the video going while he opened the door!
Any water make it in with the 3ft of water? My old 3g would get a little wet - but nothing drastic. Just put a towel down there when going through - no major damage and barely any water.

Snorkel - The 5g engine compartment/air box seems a lot higher but a lot more water gushes into the engine bay in these things. That pedestrian safe front end ruined things!

Let me retract my statement, I was sitting in water for about 15 mins lol.

ARB said they would begin work if 150 people said they were interested.

If i am not mistaken arb does not own safari snorkel, they said that the would suggest a snorkel be made after 150 people show interest. Dont know if anyone will be waiting at the assembly line after the 149th email.
