hhhmm more like until baby is at least 4months... The whole family likes wheeling to different places ( especially big bear). Just dont like the crazy stuff ... We like the easy stuff ... no rock crawling

Wait until after school sports are in the equation. 2 kids, 2 different sports = 4 practices and 5 games just this week.

LOL this one is #4 for me ...
-My oldest Daughter ( 14yrs old) is 2 time Pan Kids World Champion in Juijitsu
-My Middle(10yrs old) is National Champion in Gracie Barra Juijitsu
-Youngest ( 8yrs old ) just won his 2nd GOLD in his 2nd Juijitsu tournament.
luckily wifey doesnt work and takes care of school and juijitsu classes 12 times some times 13 times a week... but I will be taking over those duties for a couple of months while wifey take care of the new baby.

level of difficulty - easy - 4x4 w/ some lift and winter tires should suffice
I got stuck last year when I went by myself that's why I am trying to go w/ someone. Since it's a popular trail, another group pulled me out.
I am going w/ gf to enjoy the scenery and take photos as she doesn't like wheelin that much
Meet at the discovery center, drive around and up to cabin area - have lunch (nice bowl of instant ramen) at the holcomb valley camp ground - drive around some more than head home. 10am to 2 or 3pm. (probably much earlier)
If someone has better easy trail suggestion, I would be down.

how long did it take you start to finish?

Same here, I dont like crazy stuff, just enjoy nature.

There was a good amount of snow yesterday
But by the time the day ended it all melted
So theres really no snow up here
After today its most likely gonna be all gone

Unfortunately, for me I decided not to go because all the snow never came. bummer.

Getting up the mountain was no problem. I drove up the east side of the mountain. The roads were clear and it was sunny.
I didn't want to gain any snow wheeling experience by myself the hard way so we just went through some fire roads that were easy and the kids went sledding. It was a great day.
