Hi All. I've been monitoring for snowfall around the Sly Park area, and its looking pretty bare. Last year the area was blessed with alot of snow fall mid to late Dec. I've recently seen people post pics of snow towards Cisco Grove/signal peak.

Are there any other areas/trails where snow wheeling would possible this weekend?:smow:

I have seen a few pics but not much. It’s seeming like a real dry winter. Hopefully it turns around quick.

Good luck. What snow was up there is probably ice by now.
I drive by Signal regularly on the freeway. Barely see any on the north side.

Thank you for the report Sir. I planned a run over a month ago, was hoping there would be snow by now. Have some buds with lifted full size trucks and they refuse to touch trails, only snow riddled roads like Morman emigrant.

No plans to be up there this weekend but the family cabin is right off sly park and Ill be on a trail or two in that area Christmas weekend. No news of snow though.

Some of my buddies on FB was planing this wend also awhile back, obviously not happening.
There looking for another trail to do now.

I checked out the base of Signal Peak, both on the Cisco Grove side and Eagle Lake Trail Exit off 80. The Cisco Grove side had a good amount of snow, about 6inches. The Eagle Lake Trail Exit off 80 had minimal snow. Like a 1/4" of an inch, if that of snow coverage. I'd imagine there'll be a lot more snow up top.
