Boom!!! Modified some Heep $17 bump stop extensions I ordered from rough country ...cause there's no way I'm spending $60 -$100 on any 4Runner extensions out on the market for the same piece of steel stock with holes just drilled in a different spot or someone's label/brand stuck on it ...nope not this guy.

Tundra Performance series extended travel...16.26" compressed 26.55" extended 10" travel and valved for Tundra weight ...The weight of my rear bumper and can handle when I'm loaded down for a 3 day run or what not.

They feel amazing ....they suck up dips no problem ...like what dip?

Hey guys just wanted to introduce myself and say whats up. Just picked up a 98 limited two weeks ago and I can't wait to get out and hit some trails with you guys:dancin:

2wd to 4x4, your opinions?

I bought a 2wd 2nd gen a few days ago. I wanted a 4wd but said screw it and got the 2wd because all the 4wd's were thrashed. My question is:

would it be worth it to just put in a locker and keep the 2wd?
or should I do the complete 4wd conversion?

It won't be until later down the road. Taking the engine out tomorrow, have a head gasket kit on its way.... lots to do before then.

Thanks!! :D

So spit it out what the hell kind of exhaust did you have installed? Full exhaust, dual exhaust cat back exhaust, or a muffler and a tip? Did you exit front , back, side to side or down pipe it? Brand? Can we get a sound vid clip of it?

Geez man, post some damn pick of hot pipe...or was that your discreet rainbow?

man... i was just trying to sneak in a quick update and Miah wants it all ~ LOL

just did the Magnaflow Satin Stainless Steel Muffler 4" x 9" oval w/ 18" body length ~ kept the same exit that i did after catching damage on my last Cleghorn run ~ sound clip to follow
