So Cal 4Runner BS Thread

That's funny I was sending him the same shiiiit!!

Where you at in Whittier? I know that area very well and my chick is from there her whole family still lives there as well.
I only ask so I know where to come pick my stuff up from, no need to wait for Saturday I will have it installed tonight and let you know how it is.

Neighborhood A hole,
Miah

Maybe lurking a neighborhood near you ....

Haha I'm in East Whittier on the border of La Mirada. I would install sooner bit I'm leaving for an overnight fishing trip tonight. Hoping to catch tuna or yellowtail

Take pics of the boxes while there still pretty and sealed showing the labels and part numbers you ordered so others can use it them as reference and questions they may have about what you got ....this way they can look them up and shop around .....that's if they like your set up and feedback when it's complete.

Miah

Nice toys in the back ground ...good product placement

That's the only secure garage I have that I trust my toys in....but product placement is key for pictures for insurance hahaha

Might be a long shot but figured I'd check here too. I have a buddy that's putting his long travel Tacoma back to stock. So far we've accumulated everything we need, except for the top hat for the front shocks. Anyone have them laying around? All we need to put his front end back to stock

One and the same I believe. I'll take a picture after work. Worst case we disassemble the 5100/885s I have sitting in the garage and use those top plates.

Azusa ..thoughts?

Ummm ....you over it in about 20 mins. After that it's watching all the guys with garage fab mud trucks romping around tearing shiiit up and driving as far as they can till they get stuck and yank each other out and do it again.
Then they usually get a game of mud football going on ...

So if your into playing in mud.. then go for it.
Oh and everyone looks for someone they catch slippin with any Windows down even partially and just roost mud all over it one after another ....
And don't drive down the creek you will get fined you can only cross it at the entrance for the most part ...protected wildlife some sort of minnow and tadpoles/ frog I think.

It's now really oily from over all the years , but besides that don't be fooled it's that thick sticky mud ...and it runs deep. Has a nice aroma to it as well ...once it dries up and it's still on and in your rig you get some really good woffles of the aroma over and over....

So yeah it should be a great time !!!!...especially for 8 bucks it will only cost you another 50 for gas and 30 for a good deep blasting and wash. 100 dollar day to play in some mud ...shiiiit sounds so great what am I waiting for !!!

so i should save my money and just hit the trails with you guys some day? i'm not really looking to get stuck in mud and have to be pulled out. although that does sound fun.

You wanna take out your rig to go have some fun and feel her out to get that bond going...

Mmmm...:wtf:
http://www.toyota-4runner.org/so-cal/226175-wheeling-camping-oct-8-9th.html

Something don't make since here ...I'm not quit understanding. Trails = free also no mud to clean out of every crevice for months to come ...trails = hose off some trail dust.

Azusa = alone mud = stuck stuck = asking for a yank = good luck with that

SoCal T4R meets & runs = 10 - 30 rigs all fellow 4Runner enthusiast who like to have a hell of a good time
Broke down / stuck = no need to ask someone's already on it before you even get out of your rig = no need for luck when you have 20 extra hands, rigs, tools and the knowledge to fix any situation within 10 mins and 60 mins if your in a ditch and missing tires with no winch.
But will be fixed and back on the trails...

Logic makes no sense....
Sounds like we may have another "weenie" one more and it will be a full blown sausage fest up in this mutha fukka!!!
