So Cal 4Runner BS Thread

Dang I was hoping to get away with smooth bedliner as a finish and paint it myself. How much is powdercoating something like that?

i used spray can bedliner. did it over 3 or 4 days so i can flip the b!tch over to spray all around. no big deal.

just gotta be careful with runs. pretty easy to get 100% coverage though.

Ryan,

Mulling over the same idea/product. A couple of coworkers have used this guy, and when I called about roof bars a while back, he was reasonable.

Debating, debating, debating, debating. There was a Gobi rack that showed up last week on CraigsList and I should have jumped on it....

Thanks I'll look into it. I saw the same Gobi rack and I think it's overpriced. Im getting the similar style rack from a local guy outgear solutions for less. A member was selling a drabbits rack but it had horrid welds and rust in a lot of corner so I passed on that. If you decide to get the bumper lmk maybe I can pick yours up too while im down there.

Im thinking of the pro style so I can just change my upper grill and have a clean front end.

edit: new page success! you won't be disappointed with your outgear rack. they are sick! how much did you pay, if you don't mind me asking?

My quote with powder coat and light tabs was $865. I have been talking to him since early in the year so not sure if price has changed. He started doing sliders and as soon as he has an option for kick out sliders I'll get a set.

Does anyone know of anyone who can install a suspension lift on a '15 Jeep Wrangler? My friend is looking to getting it done this weekend..

Thanks!

I have a 2016 TEP. Finally got around to buying my Icon. Waited 11 weeks and was told 4-6 weeks. Got around to opening up to check on the goods. Such a disappointment. I saw a nick or a dent on the lock screw and spring. The rear shock looks to be leaking. This is crappy work. I didn't have this issue when I bought my Fabtech suspension. Icon states they don't sell scratch or dent items. You can clearly see the leak on the inside the box. Why would Icon package a shock if they didn't wipe it down.

Wow. Just wow. Are they fixing or replacing anything?
is icon on this forum? somebody on the 4th gen boards was having issues with discount tire and DT posted in his thread and got shit handled. if anyone knows their handle, tag 'em! try to reach them on sosh meeds (social media). companies hate getting called out for shit on the instant grams.

I call Icon today. I sent them an email with the same pics here. They agree that's not right and apologize. I drop them off at Icon. He said he will have them done by next Tuesday. I am going to pick them up so I can inspect instead of going through this again.

I wanted to post my nightmare here so that other members won't have to go through what I went through.
