Unfortunately those old Smittybuilt bumpers were basically built out of .090 wall exhaust tubing and don't provide much protection, ground clearance, or function. But, if you like them, then :bravo:

^^^ What he said. I had shittybuilts on my first truck for a bit - they were rusted clean through and crumpled every time a rock looked at them funny.

Honestly no. Its way too hard to ballpark it having no design to work with. I will imagine it will be in-line with most other places though.

Just an FYI, I am turning off the phone at the shop for the next week while I am at KOH. I will still process website orders, but am not taking phone orders at all.
Glade and Devin will be in the shop, but please do not go in unless you already have a scheduled appt. I bent our 19 bumpers today and have to cut some more plate bumpers tomorrow before leaving. They need time to get these built so we can get caught up on orders. If all goes as planned next week, I expect to be back on a 2-3 week turn time when I get back.

Should be full production on 2nd gen 4runners next week and start shipping them. Then we can start on 1st gen 4runners and 86-88 pickups.

86-95 version is now done. This will be the production model as you see it and will come with the clear lense/amber bulb turn signal in it.
Do you have any pics of this bumper on a first gen 4runner? I would like one for my '87 I think.

waiting to see a pic of one on a 1st gen 4runner, what about a rear plate bumper as well, would love to have a set of these style bumpers on my 1st gen.
first gen bumper would look cool with regular turn signals, led lamps on older models dont look right imo.
