We will definitely have the LEDs as an option in the 1st gen 4runner version.

Just mocked up a 1st gen 4runner 4runner today. These will fit 86-89 4runners and 86-88 pickups. They will not fit 84-85 years though.

$649 is the price. Add $30 for flush mount LED turn signals. They ship raw.

That bumper looks incredible! Clean lines. Very nice. Regarding the '85, I think it won't fit due to the body sitting .75" closer to the frame. Will it work with a 1" body lift? I think I remember this issue being addressed before. CMIIW. :shrug:

I'm interested, will wait until I get mine back from the paint and body shop to decide on bumpers. These are the best looking 1st gen plate bumpers I've seen, nice work.

Here's my 2nd gen. I should have ordered it with the turn signals, but I thought the side/parking lights were also turn signals. Doh. Just finished putting on my own signals this afternoon.

Now just waiting on the winch (ahem).

Got the lights on today, and functional. Quite a lot of light for only 54W. Yay LEDs. I'm told the winch is inbound to me via FedEx.

what is the weight of the first gen tube bumpers and the weight of the plate bumpers? and can the plate bumpers be mounted forward a few inches to stand on while working on the motor?

Tube bumper is 68lbs
Plate is 78lbs

What you see is how it mounts. You "could" space it forward a little I guess, but IMHO, I think taking it off to do major engine work would be better than using it as a step.

Yeah, Iv got a plate bumper on my F350 and love being able to stand in it to get to the motor, I welded it to the frame. I could see moving your plate bumper forward about 5 inches and putting some non skid tape on top of it, make it good for short people to do motor work

i love the semi plate front bumper for the 2nd gens! cant wait to order one. now if only someone would build one for the rear...... seems to be a lack of nice rear bumpers for 2nd gens hint hint wink wink
