I notice your tube bumpers fit 84-95 but the plate bumpers only fit 86-88?

Im new to the 4runner... so I'm wondering if this is a typo or a design restriction. red through the thread..it is not a typo..but I would like to know why it doesn't fit, if you don't mind

Also, I've seen some pictures online of this bumper with the skid plate and some without. Would this be on the 85 bumper? maybe just the angle of the pics?
