Whoa, that's crazy.. I've had close calls with branches falling under heavy snow/ice but never personally seen a tree as it fell onto a road.

Thanks. Yep, they totaled it - sad day. It was pouring rain and a crazy scene, so I didn't really get to check it out closely the day that it happened. Later saw that there was a good bit of damage to the roof, and the adjuster said that's really what did it in. Alfa gave me $5700 for it, which I thought was fair considering the mileage.

Makes me sick thinking about people ripping her apart for the parts, but it is what it is. All of the 3rd gens I've looked at while searching for another one have pretty much been hunks that were obviously not maintained very well, so I've started looking at 4th gens.

Best vehicle I've ever owned by far, wish I could find another one that was in as good condition as mine, but I just don't have the time or patience for the search right now.
