So long T4R

I haven't been super active here lately but wanted to wish you all farewell. My 2013 TE was just traded in for a 2013 GX460. While I'm really sad to see it go I'm pretty excited to stay in the family, get the power the 4Runner should've had, and drive with air conditioned seats. If Toyota had given me the option for more power I would've kept it forever but these mountain passes in CO were getting real old in the silver brick. Sure was reliable AF... The only issues I ever had were from lifting it and the alignment being off.

No mods planned other than Falken Wildpeaks and some ceramic tint so resale is high for when the Rivian R1T comes out... and for when the price drops considerably haha.

So long everyone, it was a fun ride

Congrats on the new ride! You’re still in the family so all good there.

Silver brick - ha! I once had a 1987 Tercel wagon that I called the Brown Brick. Chick magnet it was.

Again, enjoy!

Thank you! I was pretty pumped to find a 2013 GX with fewer miles for roughly the same price so it was an easy decision.

likely my next vehicle too. Great choice!
Feel free to pop in and share some pics.

good luck with the GX!

Fantastic upgrade! Close friend of mine has 2004(I think ha?) GX470 and its nice. Can only imagine how much nicer the GX460 is. If I had a family of my own, the GX470 would be a top 3 choice.

All Toyota had to do is put all 6 gears in the tranny and put the diff gears at 4.56 and the 4.0 liter would have been much better.
